This is a fun annual BBQ Agate Rock Contest that is HOT BBQ (pull pork), Mac n cheese, potatoes & roles catered along the river bar known to find agates of all sizes. Prize giveaways for largest agates, music food and fun! This is a good 5 hour day from start to finish. It takes 45mins to paddle upstream (this is NOT recommended) for first time paddlers. Than 2hrs searching for agates, music & food & ejoying cooling off in the river. Before 30 mins to float back. Recommend, hat, sunscreen, and water shoes. This is a community event. If you have your own kayak, it's only $20 includes hot food catered to you. (You are responsible for your own drink). If you need a kayak rental its $65 and also includes food and gear.
